Erin Condren Life Planner Unboxing!

Unboxing

It's here! I couldn't resist not buying the ECLP. I placed my order on July 28th and it arrived today, on the 10th August. It was shipped on the 5th meaning it took only 5 days to get here from the US! Without further ado, let's unbox my EC:
The signature pretty box

Freebies! I love freebies

These pens came free in my order, yay

Testing out the ink; I really like these pens

And finally unveiling my new and pretty planner...

I had to get the Bloom planner in yellow, the colours and pattern just spoke to me, haha. I adore sunflowers.
Surname covered for privacy reasons
And now some add-ons I purchased:

These elastic bands keep the planner shut

Pen holder. There's a seal at the back that you peel off so it can stick right onto your planner
I will post more  pictures in the future regarding the inside/layout of the planner. I'm guessing most of you already know what the inside of an EC looks like by now.

Cost

Bloom - LifePlanner- Yellow = $50.00
Pen Holder = $2.50
Elastic Bands - Platinum = $7.00
Markers - Fleur Feliz = $0.00

Shipping = $19.95

TOTAL = $79.45 (~£50.96)

Overall Thoughts

I had a really good experience ordering with them. I was able to safely make my payment through PayPal (which is always a plus), my order was dispatched and shipped quickly, and everything was in perfect condition. It is an expensive planner, but it is such a pretty planner it really does make me want to stay organised. In fact, I regret not purchasing the 18 month planner so I can use it straight away. However, I will just have to suck it up and stick with using my cheap £12 planner for now, haha. In terms of the planner, it is actually a lot bigger than I thought for some reason. It is also quite bulky which I don't mind as it just means there are a lot of pages in there for me to get writing down on! The pages are beautifully printed, as is the cover. It also comes with a lot of freebies like a sample sticker sheet, postcards, and gift labels. After such a good first experience, I am keen to order with them again in the near future!

DIY Vegan Makeup Remover

Tired of spending tons of money on makeup removers? Only for them to irritate your skin and cause redness? Well don't look away, this DIY certainly does the trick in removing your makeup and keeping your sensitive skin free from any nasty chemicals.

INGREDIENTS:

Almond oil* (or your preferred oil of choice) (£1.69)
Witch Hazel* (£3.28)
Empty Container
Filter water

*I purchased these on Amazon so the prices vary, but you can find these in health shops like Holland & Barrett

Only 3 products + water!

METHOD:

Clean your container then add equal tablespoon amounts of water, witch hazel and almond oil.

To fill half the bottle it took 10 tablespoons of each liquid. However your bottle may be bigger or smaller so you can change the amount respectively to fill it.

It turns a cloudy colour

Swatched pink lipstick on my hand.

As you can see it disappeared very easily! (and took no scrubbing like some makeup removers do)

Lipstick removed on the cotton pad

I wanted to test this makeup remover on something a little darker so tried it out on my gel eyeliner!

It disappeared! No stain and it took little to no scrubbing!

 FINAL THOUGHTS?

I'm impressed with this remover. It does well at removing makeup on my hand but I have yet to try this on my face. I will try it tonight and re-edit this post to tell you all how it did at removing my face makeup (especially interested to see how it does on my stubborn mascara!). I hope you all enjoyed this post and try it out.

Where Have I Been? & My 2015 Thus Far!

It's been a reallllly long time. I used to make YouTube videos and occasionally blog about random stuff when I was a preteen. Well, wind forward 4 years and here I am again, and I'm officially an adult! There were many reasons for leaving my online presence - too many to list in fact, but it may not even interest you all. Anyway, I'm different to how I was then and I am interested in a lot more different things now! So with that said, I bring you a summary of my year thus far:
I tried out extensions for the first time ever

Tried out a subscription service (and didn't reallllly like it lol)

 Became a planner addict

Turned 18 years old!

Became an auntie~

Adopted a vegan lifestyle

Attended a concert alone

... andddd just recently started a new job ^_^

There's still 5 months of 2015 left and a lot more time to accomplish more things! Hope you're all having a lovely day~

The Outside World: Part 3

Hey all! It's been a while. It's the winter holiday's and I'm having a really relaxing time so I'm happy basically! Haha. I'm writing this at 2am so 'yesterday' was Christmas! I got really nice presents such as a lipgloss set, 2 mini OPI nail polishes, benefit to-go kit, YSL touch éclat, lot's of chocolate, playstation games (presents to myself LOL), a 3DS [!!!!] and one DS game, two 3DS games :D

Although I did get a few other bits such as pjyamas and a foot warmer, lol, I just can't be bothered to type out a long list. I had a great time and ate turkey :P

Oh, and I apologise for my awful grammar; I'm watching desperate housewives, I'm worn out after a long day and I'm really hungry... Well before this get's any worse of a blog post I'mma leave. Bye everyone ^....^

The Outside World: Take 2

Hello all!

It's been a while. Again. I'm actually very busy if I can say so. Obviously we're all back to school and it's been a month in. Year 10 is weird, but actually okay! I do, however, get tons of homework and I have tutoring two times a week which makes it nearly impossible to do my blogging/vlogging, have a social life (which is partially non-existent) AND maintain my school work. I guess relaxing comes last! lol.

But I do want to make vids it's just my computer is so weird this year and I think I need to upgrade a lil. That means I cannot edit my videos as my video editor disappeared! Filming is troublesome too. The thing is, I haven't filmed in so long that I just don't feel comfy when I do so. So, videos are on a hold.

Other than that, I've got lot's of exams and I've already had about 5. I am due to have an english speech next week (save me, save me now!!) but as a whole I'm okay. Nothing interesting has happened as per usual but I did go shopping yesterday and got a haircut!

I did upload on twitter but you may not follow me there. My twitter is: http://twitter.com/Luka_x
Only if you're curious.

Well that's it - see ya!

www.ebay.co.uk

What they say: Make your whole face pop and your eyes illuminate with our Creative Me #1 Palette. Containing twelve bold, flashy matte hues ranging from vivid blues, neon yellows, to brilliant reds and pinks this palette allows your creative side to emerge. Each can be applied dry or wet for a deeper, longer lasting effect. The shades are held magnetically in the matte black palette imprinted with the Coastal Scents logo and palette name. All twelve shades can be purchased individually as Hot Pots to refill or create your own combinations

Price:
$21.95

Weight:
15.6g / 0.48oz

Would I recommend this?
Yes.

Swatches & Hot Pot Number
PRO's:
- Very bright and pigmented
- Hard to find cheap quality eye shadows like this
- Good thing to have in your kit if you don't already own bright shadows
- Nicely packed into one palette
- Big mirror
- Packaged nicely and sleek/simplistic
- Magnetised eye shadows so you can re-arrange the palette
- Small size so easy to store

CON's:
- Hard to access (especially those outside of the US)
- Quite a heavy palette
- Hard to pop out the eye shadows out of the palette
- The lighter colours, yellows/orange, are less pigmented
- They're all matte finishes

Overall:
I like this palette. It's all there for you to use and you can take 1 or 2 of these shadows with a neutral shade to tone it down too. It's a good thing to have in your kit if you only own a couple shadows that are all neutral. I don't use this much but have used it on other people and created looks using this. The yellows and the orange colour aren't the same as the other colours but are still good enough to use. I don't regret this buy and to be honest, I love it!

The Outside World: Take 1

Hey guys. I haven't posted on this blog for ages... to be honest I did abandon it but for the right reasons - my digital camera broke! My family will invest in a new one soon for holiday pictures and stuff so I might be able to use it for this blog sometimes :)

As for the summer hols, what have you all been up to? I've gone to Switzerland for a week and came back a week ago. It was fun =) Since then, I haven't been doing much lol. Life's kinda crazy... in my head.

I know my youtube is currently on hold, It's really personal and I haven't even told anyone so I can't tell anyone here! Sorry hehe :) Hopefully I'll still make vlogs and stuff but I'm not too sure If I want to yet.

Hope your all well and are looking forward to a new school year (which I have very mixed emotions about).

Bye!
